These areas are prone to poor healing and a higher risk of ink migration, which can result in the tattoo looking distorted or faded over time. Check out our PROBLEMATIC AREAS page for more details.

Or you can follow our guidelines based on your tattoo artist selected method of healing:
For optimal tattoo healing and maintenance, we recommend the following products:
- Moisturizing Cream: We highly recommend Hustle Butter, which is the same cream our artists use during tattoo sessions. This ensures a low likelihood of allergic reactions. You can purchase one in the studio. Other alternatives are Curel, CeraVe, and Lubriderm.
- Soap: We recommend using PurSan, which is also available for purchase at our studio. Alternatively, Ivory or Dove bar soaps are good options. Please make sure any soap used is unscented.
- Sunscreen: To protect your tattoo from sun damage, we suggest using Balm Tattoo sunscreen or any sunscreen with an SPF of 50-100.
Please remember, proper aftercare is crucial for the longevity and vibrancy of your tattoo.
Generally, a tattoo takes about 4–8 weeks to heal. This timeline can vary depending on the size of the tattoo and your individual health conditions. Always remember, everyone’s body heals at a different pace, and it’s important to follow all aftercare instructions to ensure your tattoo heals properly.
We do offer touch-up services. The cost for a touch-up ranges from $40 to $100+HST, and it depends on the size of the tattoo and the reasons for the loss of ink, which is at the discretion of the tattoo artist.
Please note that touch-ups should be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe after your tattoo has fully healed, typically around six weeks. If a significant amount of time has passed since your last session — three (3), six (6), or twelve (12) months depending on the size of the tattoo — it may be classified as a new tattoo rather than a touch-up.
We strongly advise against getting a tattoo during pregnancy or while nursing. The process of getting a tattoo can place stress on your body, which could potentially impact both you and your baby. It’s also possible that this stress could affect the quality of breast milk. Your wellbeing and the health of your little one are paramount. Consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.
Yes, you can. We want to assure you that all the equipment we use in our studio, including gloves, is latex-free.
However, we rely on the information provided by our suppliers and manufacturers regarding the latex content in their products. While we take every possible measure to ensure that our equipment is latex-free, we encourage our clients to share any allergy concerns with us prior to their appointment.
We can then discuss any additional precautions that may need to be taken. This collaborative approach helps us to provide a safe and comfortable tattooing experience for everyone.
Generally, no. While a person in a wheelchair can enter the studio and use the washrooms, we do not have accessible handles or buttons for emergency help.
